Q’s is open 17 hours a day, 365 days a year. We have 90 employees. It takes a village to run a village!
General Manager
Ann Mecham
is Q’s early morning warrior. She can be found working it most
mornings and Lunches in the Q’s Dining Room. Ann can be contacted
for large party reservations, executive dining, marketing inquiries, and just about
everything else under the sun. No PCs, she’s a Mac girl.
Beverage Manager Michael Gleason
is the man who masterminds the cocktails & crafts the
winelist. He is
enthusiastic about presenting the most innovative wine program and
beverage list in town. You can join him on Wednesdays from
3pm-5pm at
the QBar for Wine Wednesday to sample our old favorites, new pics, or
some wines we are thinking about putting on the list. Mike also manages
Q’s imposing softball squad
and has his best days when the Sox are winning.
Floor Manager Hari Berrier coordinates
our Human Resources efforts. She came to us from managing bands
in San Francisco and has put her skills to great use with our staff.
She is always cheery and excited to be at work. Please

Q’s Executive Chef Matt Christianson
is a CIA schooled veteran of Bradley Ogden’s Bay area restaurant
empire. Matt’s culinary talents, diligence, vast store of
culinary knowledge, and penchant for innovative use of fresh local
ingredients have lifted Q’s Chef Crafted Cuisine to new heights.
Matt is ably supported in the kitchen by Pastry Chef Veronica Laramie, and Sous Chefs Cruz Silva, Sam Proia,
and Ian Rubenoff.
Chef/Proprietor John Platt
has owned Q’s since he purchased the restaurant from Dave Query
in 1993. During his tenure as Chef and owner, Q’s has achieved
critical acclaim for consistent culinary excellence and gracious
hospitality. John is a respected leader in the Boulder restaurant
world, a teacher to aspiring culinarians, mentor to numerous alumni of
Q’s now successful in their own endeavors, and a tireless
contributor to the community.
