Archipel 2002 'Bordeaux Style Blend'

$67 a bottle

Wow! What a blend. 

At first breath the nuance of blueberry & black cherry captivate the senses.  As the wine opens hints of smoke, leather, and chocolate becomes apparent.  The fruit blend and use of American & French oak add a beautiful structure and complexity to the wine.  The finish is medium-long showcasing the fruit and well integrated tannins.

Perfect wine to savor the remaining summer nights. 

The winery was established in 1950 & has been owned and operated by the Falcón Family for three generations.  Their traditional technique and attention to detail has captivated the hearts of Albariño fans world wide.http://www.donolegario.com 

The wine fills your senses with aromas of  green apples, peaches, & honeysuckles with hints of  wet granite.

The wine presents a nice middle palate with a medium body. 

The finish is long and leaves you with bright minerals and fresh fruit.  

Great for a picnic in the park or a seafood BBQ in the backyard.
